These User Data Deletion Terms explain how Terranex Solutions Ltd, trading as LegitPlot (“we,” “us,” or“our”) handles the deletion of personal information and user-generated data collected through the LegitPlot website, verification services, and affiliated partner platforms.Our goal is to give users clear control over their personal information in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
The following users may request deletion of their data:
Registered Members who have created a LegitPlot account.
Property Owners or Agents who have submitted listings or verification documents.
Buyers or Inquiry Senders who have contacted sellers or agents through LegitPlot forms.
Upon a verified deletion request, LegitPlot will permanently remove oranonymize the following data categories from active systems:
Personal profile information (name, email address, phone number, andprofile image).
Account login credentials and authentication data.
Property listings or submissions directly created by the user.
Uploaded identification and verification documents (e.g., title scans, IDphotos).
Inquiry or message history initiated by the user.
Billing and payment details (except as required for accounting or taxpurposes).
Certain data may be retained for a limited time when required for:
Legal compliance: to fulfill anti-fraud, property verification, or transaction record-keeping obligations.
Security and audit logs: to detect unauthorized access or abuse.
Financial reporting: invoices, receipts, and accounting records retained for up to seven (7) years as required by law.
All retained data will be securely stored and restricted from regular use.
Users can initiate a deletion request through any of the following methods:
Email: Send a written request to support@legitplot.com using the same email linked to your LegitPlot account.
In-App: If logged in, navigate to Account Settings → Privacy → Request Data Deletion (available once the feature is enabled).
The request must include:
The full name and email associated with the account.
A brief description of the data or listing to be deleted.
Proof of identity (if required to verify ownership of the account or listing).
We will acknowledge receipt within 5 business days and complete verified deletions within 30 calendar days, unless a longer period is required by law.
Once processed:
The user’s account and associated listings will become permanently inaccessible.
Any public references to removed listings will return a “Listing Unavailable” message.
LegitPlot will not be able to restore deleted data after confirmation of deletion.
If any data has been shared with third-party verification or payment providers, LegitPlot will forward the deletion request to those partners and instruct them to delete or anonymize related records, subject to their own legal retention requirements.
We may update these User Data Deletion Terms from time to time to reflect operational or legal changes. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
