Legitplot Verification Service Agreement

1. Acceptance Of Terms (Online Agreement)

By creating an account, submitting a property listing, or checking theacceptance box labeled
“I agree to the LegitPlot Verification Service Agreement”,
the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to belegally bound by this Agreement.

This Agreement constitutes a valid and binding electronic contract under the laws of Uganda and does not require a physical signature.

2. Purpose

This Agreement outlines the terms under which LegitPlot provides property and listing verification services to confirm the apparent authenticity of ownership documents and related information submitted by the Client.

3. Scope Of Verification Services

LegitPlot may, at its discretion:
- Review title deeds, land registry extracts, and seller identification documents
- Conduct online and/or in-person checks with relevant authorities, registries, or third parties
- Issue a verification badge, status, or report based on the findings

4. Limitations Of Verification

The Client acknowledges and agrees that:
- Verification confirms only that submitted documents appear authentic and correspond with available     registry data at the time of review
- LegitPlot does not guarantee ownership, title transfer, boundary accuracy, or absence of liens or disputes
- LegitPlot is not responsible for:  
* Subsequent changes in title  
* Undisclosed encumbrances  
* Fraud occurring after verification  
* Disputes between buyers, sellers, or third parties

5. Fees

- Verification fees (if applicable) are as published on the LegitPlot website or platform
- Promotional or free verification services may be offered at LegitPlot’s discretion
- All fees are non-refundable once verification has commenced

6. Client Obligations

The Client agrees to:
- Submit true, accurate, and  complete documents and information
- Provide original documents if reasonably requested
- Cooperate fully during the verification process
- Not alter, misrepresent, reuse, or manipulate any verification badge, report, or status

Any misuse may result in suspension or termination of platform access.

7. Confidentiality & Data Use

LegitPlot shall:
- Treat all submitted documents as confidential
- Use documents solely for verification and compliance purposes
-Disclose information only where     required by law or regulatory authority

8. Verification Outcomes

Verification results may include:
* Verified – Documents appear authentic based on available checks
* Pending – Additional information or review required
* Rejected – Inconsistencies found or verification could not be completed

LegitPlot reserves the right to update verification status if newinformation arises.

9. Liability Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- LegitPlot, its directors, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from reliance on verification results
- The Client assumes full responsibility for transactions conducted using the platform

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

11. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding verification services and supersedes all prior communications, whether written or oral.
